The second Disha event took place on the 20th October 2013 at the 2nd Cheshire Home. This pleasant old age home houses 21 women inmates who have the undying spirit of living their life to the fullest. The eerie silence of the campus was broken by our buzzing and absolutely incredible DISHA volunteers who actively took part to make this event a success.
The refreshing batch of 2013 staged a skit to raise awareness about oral hygiene following which Anjali Prabhu, Batch of 2012 sang two heart touching songs. The inmates enjoyed themselves and were extremely jovial and receptive throughout the event. They made their presence felt at all times and the age barrier seemed to melt away as the event progressed.
Finally the event was concluded with the distribution of toothbrushes and toothpastes.
