Cartooning
The second event of the first day changed the mind blogging atmosphere of the crossword to a more light and humorous one. The topics were :
1. A scene from UP elections 2.Traffic jam at Hampankatta signal This competition may have sounded all fun and frolic but with the exception of penciling or erasing, the participants had to really eliminate the possibility of making any mistakes. The commencement showed enthusiasm in the faces of the participants. Hearing the topics, participants were bewildered. Among the two topics, elections were chosen by more number of participants than the traffic jam at hampankatta. I guess this was because it revoked the memory of the many caricatures of all the politicians and elections seen in the media. Soon blank sheets were filled with witty art which sent out a message too. The cartooning competiton strongly sent out the message that "A picture speaks a thousand words". -Sadhvi Shankar Graffiti
